Your Timeless Journey Awaits...

View the big 5 as well as a host of endangered and unique flora and fauna

Formally established in 1948 by private landowners, this magnificent reserve lies adjacent to the famed Kruger National Park. Today, many of the private lodges in this region are owned by the third and fourth generations of the founding families, and this has ensured the high level of sustainability and conservation in the area.

Lion Sands Safari

This diverse and wildlife-rich reserve covers an area over 160 000 acres and offers visitors the opportunity to view the big 5 as well as a host of endangered and unique flora and fauna. With no fences separating the Sabi Sands from the Kruger National Park, wildlife roams freely in their natural habitat, providing exceptional and intimate game viewing of countless species, including the elusive leopard.

Home to one of the largest and most bio-diverse wildlife populations in Africa, with over 200 animal species co-existing in this territory year-round, the breath-taking landscapes and spectacular game-viewing found in this region will leave you with memories of your travel in Africa that will last a lifetime.

"We spent 10-nights in South Africa and would have loved to extend the trip and continue exploring. Our two most favorite parts of the trip were hiking Table Top Mountain with our fabulous, very knowledgeable and polite guide Nick one early morning (5am pick up!) and our time on Safari. Seeing all of the animals in their habitat and being a part of their world was a memory we will never forget."

"We visited South Africa, Zambia, and Botswana. The accommodations were next level. There are no adequate words to describe the experience in the bush with the Big 5 and beyond. The people are the most gracious, appreciative, and kind I’ve ever encountered. If you want a worry free, experience of a lifetime you must use Timelines Africa. I can’t wait to go back!!"
