Fun, experiential conservation with the Singita Grumeti Fund

TRAVEL WITH PURPOSE TO TANZANIA

Run the Serengeti in support of women and girl empowerment
Singita’s first-ever all-woman run across the Serengeti in partnership with BRAVE. A once-in-a-lifetime experience, running 90km over a period of three consecutive days across the vast Serengeti plains to raise funds for girls and women. The main focus is on opportunities for women to become leaders in conservation in their communities and countries.

Elephant collaring experience
Participate in elephant collaring operations in a first-of-its-kind specialist conservation safari led by Executive Director of the Singita Grumeti Fund, Stephen Cunliffe. Be are there from start to finish, gaining a deeper understanding of wildlife conservation and assisting the conservation teams and partners in collaring the threatened Tanzanian elephants.

Happy smiles and wagging tales at the Canine Unit
Four rescue dogs help fight against poaching by joining 120 dedicated anti-poaching scouts responsible for defending Singita Grumeti from the significant threat of illegal hunting. Meet Tony, Popo, DJ and Radar, four highly specialised detection dogs from shelters in the US and trained by Working Dogs for Conservation. Visit their state-of-the-art canine unit and see how they sniff out wildlife contraband like ivory, rhino horn, pangolin scales, and bushmeat, as well as ammunition and snares.
