Day 1: Arusha

Upon arrival at the local airport, Eric, Suzanne and the kids were welcomed in the arrivals hall and escourted to their vehicle. After a 90-minute transfer they reached the Arusha Coffee Lodge and checked in to two Plantation Suites for one night.

Day 2 - 4: Karatu

Days two to four were spent at the awe-inspiring Gibbs Farm, which kicked off with a stunning full-day Big 5 safari with their guide at Ngorongoro Crater. They met some of East Africa’s most talented artists, explored the back roads of the village by bicycle and walked the organic 10-acre fruit and vegetable gardens and coffee fields – feasting daily on organic cuisine fresh from the garden, bakery and dairy.

Day 5 - 7: Eastern Serengeti

They wrapped up their stay at Gibbs Farm with a flight to the Four Seasons Seregenti Safari Lodge, perched on a series of elevated platforms and walkways adjacent to a watering hole, where, from their private balconies, they watched herds of elephants stopping for their morning drink.

Day 8: End of their African Journey

The guests then checked out and began their journey back home to the USA.
