Nestled amongst scenic tea Plantations in southwest Rwanda, Nyungwe forest is the biggest mountain rain forest on this side of the African continent. With over 1000 species, it’s abundant plant and animal life make it the most important biodiversity conservation project in Rwanda. Additionally Nyungwe is probably the best-preserved forest in Africa, making it a favourite with those on safari in Rwanda.
