  • This is just a note to thank you for the unbelievable experience we had in Namibia! Eddie, the driver, was perfect and patient and drove us really beautifully and safely. We had a good clean car that worked perfectly. The Wolwedans Private Camp was out of this world and Ongava was magical! We will recommend and direct to Timeless Africa Safaris all our friends who visit us!

  • "This is a very delayed email to say that everything on the trip was beyond incredible. We so appreciate everything you did to help us have our dream honeymoon, answer our questions for the months leading up to it, and making it a reality. It wouldn't have been possible without you."

  • "Thank you so much for arranging the perfect holiday for us. We had an amazing time and enjoyed everything about our visit. The accommodation in Cape Town, Shamwari Game Reserve and Durban was fantastic with great food and locations. Our drivers were all good - safe and courteous. Dominic as our guide around Cape Town was a really good choice. He had some really good knowledge and interesting information, he was always friendly and flexible with our itinerary. He took us to some nice wineries which were hidden gems. Thank you for arranging the bag of goodies upon our arrival, I used everything including the driving goggles for the safari. The packing list was helpful and the itinerary booklet was beautiful. Thanks for all the pre-flight information and your attention to detail. We will make sure to tell our friends about you when they travel as we had the perfect 7-day trip to South Africa. Kind Regards Pauline Duncan"

  • Really, this is one of the (if not the) most luxurious place I have ever stayed. I want to come annually but they told me they are solidly booked in 2018 and most of 2019! They have it down - everything from the rooms to the service and game drives! Yes — coming annually to Africa!

  • Dear Belinda, Thank you for arranging one of the best trips that I have ever taken (and I have taken a lot). Everything was better than I expected. The staff that took care of us were very friendly and informative. We felt safe the entire time. The welcome packet we received on our first day was very useful. On the safari, we were lucky to see four of the Big Five! We must come again for the cheetah 😃 The accommodations were top notch. The food everywhere was amazing. The chef, especially at Madikwe, was fantastic. We felt like VIPs during the entire week. Thank you again for all of your arrangements and for all the communications before the trip began. Best regards, Azza

  • "We had an unbelievably special time, from the care and attention of our incredible attendant at Singita, to the city experiences in Joburg and Cape Town. We loved the flexibility given to us by you, and also by our guides and drivers as we were able to really tailor-make our trip, but also utilize your recommendations. The level of sophistication and knowledge present in both cities and in all people in those roles were utterly surprising and very much welcomed."

  • "Many thanks Kim, your support elevated our retreat to a whole new level!" Raoul stayed at Royal Chundu in Zambia, a luxurious lodge perched on the water’s edge on a secluded stretch of the mighty Zambezi River, and just upstream from Victoria Falls.

  • "Dear Kay Thank you so so much for all your assistance with arranging our recent conference. The conference went so well and we thank you for the role that you played in ensuring that our complicated accommodation requirements went smoothly – which they certainly did! We also had great feedback from the Sunday tour. I also got a photo from Safari – they seem to be having a ball. Grateful thanks. Regards Wendy Kahn"

  • "Hi Belinda It was lovely to finally personally meet you in Cape Town, although briefly. Whilst Sandibe’s service and facilities were superior, Khwai, being on the river, was a magnificent backdrop and scenery whilst relaxing at the lodge. Watching the elephants and the hippos from all areas of the lodge, including our rooms, was very special. The game was more prolific at Khwai. All in all a sublime experience. Thank you for all your assistance in making our trip memorable and an experience never to be forgotten. Regards Denise & Mick PS We loved the wine gums and the packs you provided were a very thoughtful touch."

  • "Hi Belinda, We agree completely with Margo’s very thoughtful feedback. The accommodation, food and hospitality at Andbeyond Sandibe are superb with good game/rangers (driver and spotter). It was wonderful to introduce our friends to Cape Town which is a stunning city of contrasts (mountains/oceans; urban/rural; first world/third world; etc). Delaire Graff was a highlight, the Zeitz MOCAA a wonderful surprise and Robben Island and the Township tours very insightful. Overall, our two weeks in Botswana and Cape Town with good friends was very special, enjoyable and thought-provoking time which we will remember for a long time to come. Thanks to you and Marco for all your help and advice which is very much appreciated. Kind regards, Raymond and Janine"

  • Hi Belinda and team The trip was absolutely amazing! I'll start with Botswana: the guiding at Sandibe was fantastic. They took their job very seriously and did a great job accessing the wildlife. It's really something to witness how the first creature in the wild captures one fully, then the next day meeting some elephants or giraffes on one's path becomes part of everyday life in the outdoors. We all adapted quickly. The lodge at Sandibe, the accommodation, food and service was unbelievable and each meal was presented with such care and finesse. Every time we returned to the lodge we were greeted with drinks and interested staff. Our food waiter looked after us for every meal and he was fantastic. A smiling face and he couldn't do enough for us. We loved the scenery there, the termite mounds were fascinating, the sunsets and the palm trees were very unexpected. The first afternoon our guide found a leopard perched on a tree branch, to shelter from the afternoon heat, and so well camouflaged we needed the experience of Jonas and Trust to find her, what an introduction to Botswana. We saw 4 of the big 5, there were no rhinoceros but we are very content with Sandibe and would highly recommend the lodge. We loved Cape Town - it was both fascinating and confronting to experience Robben Island, a township , a drive to Cape of Good Hope, Table Mountain and to Stellenbosh. The lunch at the Delaire Graff estate was for us the most memorable meal and we couldn't believe how beautiful the vineyards are there. There are no words to describe the natural beauty and ruggedness of Cape Town, nestled between the mountains and water, every turn reveals new wonders, whether another sandy beach, another mountain range or the harbour and the ocean. Best wishes Margo Lowy

  • "Dear Kim, Our journey to South Africa was marvelous, much better than what we could dream of. Our private tour guides were all highly professional and fun to be with. The week with Allie was extraordinary and special. We learned so much from him and he took care of us like we were his family. The trip plan was perfect!!! We enjoyed every hotel, including the Marine in Hermanus that is more than 4 Stars hotel as you mentioned, and restaurants especially NOBU. The safari experience was astonishing and for our family a once in a lifetime experience. We are so thankful for the Ecca Lodge team that took care of Nitzan's gluten-free diet and Ayelet's vegetarian food. We thank you for the time and effort you made planning our trip. Thanks Ayelet & Shachar"

  • "There are truly no words to describe our time at Mala Mala. If I had to choose one, it would be "magical". It was complete perfection from start to finish and absolutely everything we were looking for. Our ranger, Ollie, was the greatest - so knowledgeable and a complete joy to spend time with. The entire staff was lovely beyond words. The camp was extraordinary in its quiet natural beauty and raw surroundings. I really can’t put into words how incredible this experience was for our family. We saw the Big 5 daily, and did it in a relaxed, exciting, glam (hot water bottles and blankets for morning drives!) and patient setting. I cried when our time there was over and am already constantly thinking about how quickly we could get back for another adventure. Mala Mala was definitely the high point of this trip. I would tell anyone to go there anytime for the experience of a lifetime."

I would recommend Timeless Africa Safaris and you Belinda to anyone looking for a fabulous experience. Thank you so much for all of the hard work. • "I wanted to thank you for organizing such a great trip. Everything worked well (the helpers at Johannesburg airport were great) and we had one of the best meals we've ever had at The Residence. Zacky was amazingly cheerful, helpful and knowledgeable showing us around Cape Town - what a great city and region! The safari was fabulous, the whole staff couldn't do enough, and Bazaruto Island was stunningly beautiful. My wife Trish is now pushing for another trip to Africa after being nervous before we went!"

  • "Jamala Madikwe was amazing. The personalized attention was really special. All of our requests were attended to immediately. The staff there is wonderful. Nico and Rodney are very special people. We fell in love with our Guide, Lazarus, who was born on the reserve and knew every square inch. He showed us his country with the deepest love and joy. Staying for six nights allowed us to follow certain individual animals over the course of the week. We met a beautiful two-year-old female leopard the first day we arrived, who had been tracked across the reserve and had found nothing to eat. She was hungry and tired. Lazarus explained that she was young and still not a very good hunter. We met her again three days later, after having eaten small meals. Lazarus told us that she looked much better. Then finally on our last day, she was tracked after she had made a kill and had dragged an impala up a tree to continue feasting. The videos and pictures we took of her and the rest of the animals were remarkable. Seeing a wide variety of animals at the watering hole while we sat and enjoyed our meals was a fantasy come true. Your itinerary, help with packing, and the wonderful gifts you sent to us were invaluable and much appreciated. We used the safari bag you gave us daily. It was the perfect size to carry extra layers, binoculars etc. Thank you Louise, you really made our trip wonderful. Of course I will recommend you unreservedly."

  • "Having a qualified guide during our time in Cape Town made a tremendous difference to our experience. Our guide was much more than a driver. His sole aim was to see that we had the very best time in Cape Town, saw everything we wanted to see, and learned as much as we could about the history and culture of South Africa. We never had to worry about needing directions, where to go, where to park a car, nothing. It was "white glove" service and certainly worth the cost. "Our 'Cultural Day' was a visit to a township - this was one of the most memorable experiences of our time in Cape Town. We have three teenage daughters who benefited from seeing the beauty and getting an inside perspective of how people live in townships. We will never forget the time we spent at the pre school with these beautiful young children." • "Dear Kim, Thank you for all your help in planning this wonderful trip for our family. It was an incredible trip that we will always remember! Here are a few reflections: Overall, I would say that our itinerary was quite full so that we were able to fit a lot into our trip, but we still had some time for moments of rest / leisure. Well done! Our journey to Cape Town was pretty easy and the pick-up and drop off at our hotel went smoothly. The Cape Grace was beautiful and the service and food there were excellent. We enjoyed being on the Waterfront and loved visiting the Watershed where local artisans sold their pieces. We bought several things, including a beautiful original painting by a local artist and look forward to hanging it in our home. Our days touring with Cheryl were great. We especially loved the trip down to Cape Point. The coastline there was stunningly beautiful. And the stop at the little craft shop and the ostrich farm were fun. We also loved our trip up to Table Mountain and were able to catch a magnificent sunset. Cheryl was excellent at navigating the area and taking us to different parts of the city. We loved our stay at the Phinda Mountain Lodge. Everyone was very warm and helpful. Our cottages were great and the food was very good. Our personal helper, Else, was lovely and our guide, Lucky, and tracker, Josi, were amazing. We had so much fun with Lucky - not only was he a great ranger, but he was a delightful companion, always laughing and having fun with us. It was especially nice to share dinner with him on two of the nights. On our rides, we saw every animal we had hoped to see - elephants, giraffe, zebras, black and white rhinos, wart hogs, hippos, cheetahs, a leopard, and lots of lions - it was really incredible! Josi and Lucky were amazing at finding them, and were very informative about their habits. For Jason's birthday, they set up a wonderful cake and champagne stop along our evening drive which was a great surprise and really nice! The lodge was also very good at accommodating our gluten-free diet. It really was a fantastic trip and we are very grateful for your help! Warm regards, Chrissy" Chapin family

  • "We had a wonderful trip. This trip will certainly figure in our top 2-3 family vacations (and we do go on a lot of overseas vacations). Everything – from the hotels we stayed at, to the places we went, was perfect. There was not a single glitch anywhere – which is uncommon in a two week packed trip. I would also like to mention our guides (Terrance, Helen, Natasha) – they really made our trip enjoyable and memorable. We got to know them really well and developed a bond with them. We loved the people of the country – very warm, kids friendly and helpful. Going in, we thought Safari will be the highlight – and in many ways it was … but every part of the trip had its own highlight. Another highlight was the quality of food and wine – which quite honestly we expected to be good but not as good as it was. I will certainly advise others looking to go to South Africa to connect with you. We are already thinking about our next trip to Africa… Thank you again! Sahay"

  • "Dear Belinda, I’ve been playing “catch up” since returning home, but new are still in awe with the best family vacation ever. The Hotels were wonderful. The Leeu House was like being in a dream. The rooms and service were unbelievable. The Radisson Blu was the perfect place for our family. The family suite gave us a place to hang out and sip wine. The Royal Madikwe was amazing. The Porterfield family was in the Royal Suite which was a separate residence. They were blown away. The service, our guide Doc and the food were wonderful. Marataba’s setting was spectacular. Again the accommodations were first rate. Beautiful lodge, great service and our guide Adam was a hit. Dion our driver in Cape Town was the best, great tour guide and very knowledgeable and helpful. Everything went smoothly. Belinda, you were fantastic! I’ve been telling all our friends about the “Best Family Vacation Ever” and will be sharing your name. Both of our daughters are big on Social Media and they will be posting Glowing Reports. Thanks again for making it all possible. Regards, Larry"

Our safari to Botswana was one we will never forget and the three days in Cape Town were amazing. Everything that TAS lined up (Chapman’s Peak Drive, Boulders, Cape Point, Two Oceans restaurant, Table Mountain, Cheetah rescue, Stellenbosch, etc.) was impeccable and we would highly recommend TAS to other friends."

  • "I can’t thank you enough for putting together what was truly a once in a lifetime experience in Africa. I am going through my 16,000+ pictures taken during the trip to find some of the best for a photo book and DVD slideshow. We were very impressed with all the TAS representatives. They made us feel extra special!!! The accommodations were incredible for the entire trip! I have forwarded your information to a friend who will be in touch with TAS soon. She loved the pictures I showed her and can’t wait to book. I will be in touch soon with more stories, pictures and comments on our vacation. Randy Carr”

  • “Overall, this may be the best trip we have ever taken. We loved every day, every moment and every exciting experience. The safari part was the very best. Botswana was wonderful, seeing the animals up close was mind boggling. Mombo and Zarafa should be highly recommended to anyone looking for a special safari experience. Mombo had the very best game viewing and Zarafa was a close second. The guides at both camps are very special and they truly make the trip since you are with them seven hours a day. The camp hosts are wonderful in that they made us feel like invited house guests. The accommodations are over the top. Cape Town and the Stellenbosch was also very worthwhile but they simply can not compete with the animals. We really enjoyed the food and sights in the Cape Town area. It is a beautiful city with friendly and welcoming people. The wine country is stunning. What beauty and what great wines to taste. Leeu Estates was unique and we would also recommend it. Louise you did a great job organizing our trip. Your work was faultless. Your creativity was essential and much appreciated. You made everything seamless and oh so easy. We would not hesitate for a second to recommend you to others. Thank you for your guidance, your direction and your patience. We love you a lot. Many, many thanks David and Susan Scholes”
