Kibale Forest National Park

Comprising 766 square kilometres of dense evergreen rainforest which forms a continuous wooded landscape with neighbouring Queen Elizabeth National Park, the Kibale Forest National Park provides a flourishing natural habitat for endangered chimpanzees, red colobus monkeys and African bush elephants. The Park is a sanctuary for primates, boasting the greatest variety and concentration anywhere in East Africa, and offers amazing opportunities for chimpanzee trekking. Prolific birdlife and an assortment of carnivores like leopards, African golden cats and servals make for a diverse and action-packed wildlife experience.
