This boutique safari camp set in a grove of trees and surrounded by papyrus beds has just five luxurious suites, each with outdoor baths and star beds on their private decks. The design and construction are eco-friendly, built on raised platforms high above the Boro River in a private concession bordering the Moremi Game Reserve.
Walking safaris, night drives, helicopter flights, seasonal Mokoro excursions and motorised boating are available, as well as the immersive “Living with the Elephants” experience. The latter gives guests the opportunity to go walking in the bush with semi-habituated elephants, Jabu and Morula. These orphaned elephants who are cared for by husband and wife team Doug and Sandi Groves, ‘take’ guests on long walks, foraging in the area in absolute safety. They show travellers how they look for food, strip leaves from branches with their long trunks and take showers in the lagoons of the delta.
