Festive Family Safari

Alan and his family arrived at Johannesburg International Airport where they were met by a VIP agent and assisted through arrivals and on to a shuttle drive to the charters departure terminal for their private charter flight to Tintswalo Airstrip. Upon arrival they were met by the lodge team and transferred to the lodge for check in with the use of their own private safari vehicle that was available for his every safari-related whim. Tintswalo Lapalala is family-friendly, environmentally conscious and completely off the grid. With views overlooking the rolling mountains and plains of the malaria-free Waterberg region, Alan could choose game drives, fishing, walks to the Iron Age site to view ancient artefacts and well-preserved bushman rock paintings, picnics along the riverbed, a barge river cruise along the Palala river and enjoy unforgettable boma dinners (catering to the family’s Kosher requests) beneath the sparkling Milky Way.

With two late check-out rooms, Alan and his family could relax for the first part of the day, or head out with a ranger on a private safari experience tailored to their preference. After a late lunch, the group was transferred to the airstrip for their return flights home.
