Born and raised in Cape Town, Laura’s Italian roots took her to Italy where she spent a year working in hotels, before returning to the Mother City to attend Hotel School. After a long career in hospitality, it was clear that travel was the next adventure. Two loves combined – groups & travel. She truly believes that if you do what you love, you will never work a day in your life. She is a people’s person who believes her most valuable asset is her relationship with both guests and suppliers. On the home front, family is everything. Spending time with family and having that balance is something she strives for. There’s nothing like a weekend camping trip or a big family dinner table with lots of chatter.

My first one! Before that wildlife was merely pictures in a book or on the internet. It was an emotional moment for me.
I’ve been lucky enough to travel to Italy with my family since I was little and have always loved travelling. I fell in love with travel in Africa on that first safari game drive.
Cape Town of course. If I didn’t live here, it would be my top holiday destination.
A camera… if I can’t share the moments with my family and friends, I take the images home to re-live and share.
