Tintswalo Safari Lodge follows daily themes such as Shangaan culture, tracking, stargazing and insects & birds. For each theme, a talk is given, a game drive followed by an activity such as painting or collage and mosaic making. The day ends with some authentic Shangaan story telling. Kids work with an activity workbook designed for children of school-going age. Activities for toddlers are organised too.

Other family-type activities include picnics, guided hikes, biking and fishing.
